So underrated and punching way above its weight class. Bit more delicate and pure than your high end Boudreaux. Perfect for seaside dinners. Great vintage too. — 11 days ago
Nuanced red. Nothing bold, nothing angular, nothing out of place. Balanced, intriguing dark wild berry flavors expressing slowly and carefully. Whispers of earth, and forest floor. Great wine to sit down and savor. But that is hard to do when there are two other people savoring that same wine and it just ‘poof’ disappears. — 24 days ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of cedar, dark cherries and asian spices. Medium bodied, oh so elegant tannins, notes of tobacco, berries and anise. Very long, very elegant. This is probably as good as it gets in terms of elegance and complexity in Rive Gauche Bordeaux other than first growths, and not by much. Enthusiastically recommended. — 3 days ago
Classic La Mission nose showing mostly black fruits, with notes of smoke, cedar, licorice, leather, mocha, underbrush & cigar ash. Just entering its prime with many years ahead — 5 days ago
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fresh red berries on the nose with Indian spices and chocolate notes.
Medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and complex.
Showing raspberries, cherries, black currants, plums, light oak, spices, chocolates, earth, coffee, wet leaves and herbs.
Medium length on the finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This young Grenache blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape is very approachable, and already drinking beautifully, but needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.
Well balanced and tangy, with good structure. Spicy and entertaining. Alcohol is nicely integrated already. Complex and engaging.
I had this wine as a 20 year old, and it was so much better with age.
This 2022 vintage in Châteauneuf-du-Pape is already showing its possibilities. Will continue to age nicely in the next 25 years.
Delicious by itself or with food.
A blend of mostly Grenache, from 40 year old vines, with all 13 grapes allowed in the appellation. Aged in used French oak barrels for 12 months.
15% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Had at chez fifi . Cherry forward, but light and not to complex in flavor profile. It’s ok — 25 days ago

This wine seems finally mature, with tannins fully resolved, but still showing a firm backbone and structure, fresh acidity, very good balance, lingering finish, always a good wine for me. Funny anecdote about Sociando-Mallet, at least in the 1980s they used the worst “glue” on their labels, so about 1/3 of them fall off — as long as the bottles are in OWCs, not a big deal, but this is one where the label did fall off. 🤔🤷 — 18 days ago
