2010 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 30 minutes and 1.5 hours. Light-medium/medium body. Silky, supple and supremely beautiful-for Bordeaux. Beautiful closure on a lengthy finish. So much attention to detail without it being overtly obvious. Exceptional beauty and a fave, cutting edge BDX producer-along with Durfort-Vivens in Margaux to taste the possibilities of the region. Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits with biscuit and floral notes. On the palate flavors of peach, apple and melon with white floral herb notes. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and yeasty notes, lively acidity with slight mineral character. Small production, nice! — 2 months ago

This is a SUPERIOR Côtes du Rhône, dark fruits, lovely depth and complexity, this is old vines fruit just barely outside the CdP appellation (similar to Coudoulet de Beaucastel), and has long been a poor man’s CdP!! — 3 months ago
