An excellent wine from a not great year. Gorgeous on the nose. Plum, cassis, lavender, and milk chocolate. Just a bit weak on the finish. — 11 days ago
I’m biased. Monastrell is my fav grape. This is one of the better ones I’ve tried. It’s rich, supple, dry and lovely. — 25 days ago

Procured via auction. Have had bad bottles before but cork looked solid (used Durand to take no chances).
This bottle was excellent and the wine developed nicely in the glass over about 1.5 hours. Kept in my ETO.
Nice black and dark fruits with a little muscle. Oak integrated and not overpowering.
Lovely pairing with steak. — 24 days ago
Lovely wine. Bright red cherries, and a bit of chocolate and spice. Fine tannins. Paired beautifully with salmon. — a month ago
Grippy tight and tannic at opening but softened into juicy plum and cranberry with graphite and soft tannins. Lovely. Drink now if you have any of the 96 left. — 10 days ago
" A full-bodied wine shows ripe dark fruit aromas, voluminous richness and plentiful tannins." — 7 days ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Ruby red color with red fruit aromas and gentle floral spice, aged for 11 months in 30% new French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and raspberry with notes of herb tea, spice with wet stone notes. Fine dusty tannins on a long finish ending with fruit, herbs and savory earthy mineral notes. Very Nice, will age, tasting well now! — 13 days ago
