Have had a few bottles of this, took a flyer on a case from the Del Posto auction given it’s a birth year port. Not as deep or rich as some of the truly great ports I’ve had but still absolutely wonderful. Still has great balance and acid with a long finish. — 2 years ago
Can’t go wrong when it’s 1/2 price at Winn Dixie! A very nice cab sauv from Healdsburg which shines on the fruit and a very nice finish!! If you can get this fir the $40’s range - BUY BUY BUY!! if it’s regular price, there are more named vintners with better product from this region!! — 4 years ago
A Bronco Wine wine. Hmm, That’s the Two Buck Chuck company. This is Livermore Valley AVA though. Worth the $4 flyer at Grocery Outlet. Dark ruby maroon color. Smells dense and kinda complex. Hint of fresh herbs and smoke of dried herbs with the fruity stuff. Flavors are complex. Cherries in a woodsy bourbon barrel thing. Also chalk. (Good way chalk). Meaty streak. This would go well with a rare steak from the coals. Reminds me of nice St. Èmilion or Meritage type blends from Sonoma. This is a great deal for the regular price and one of those WTF deals for $4 at G.O. Just good to great Merlot. — 4 years ago
Excellent Beauj I picked up at an independent store on Dixie Hwy…recognized Thevenet from an earlier rating….classic muddy fruity Beauj that will be really awesome in ~5yrs, but drinking well now — a year ago
Dixie bought as Christmas present, great smooth, easy drinking lighter red. 2019 vintage — 3 years ago
A purchase from Last Bubbles. Not familiar with this producer, but coming from a nice vintage and spending almost 11yrs on the lees was enough for me to take a flyer.
Paired with a massive spread of caviar, sashimi, oysters. As mentioned below, this was a bit one dimensional upon opening but fleshed out nicely an hour or two later. If comparing against a bigger name, I’d say this is in a vein of Bollinger (slightly big/rich, but balanced; toasty). Fresh lemon scone and puff pastry aromatically, but it goes a bit more salted popcorn, nougat-like on the palate and finish. While this doesn’t sport a ton of layers, it’s tasty and will hang in this drinking window for a while. I’d buy again.
Paired well with the 3L of 1999 SQN “Marauder” behind it! — 2 years ago
Fun label but often times that can mean not the best. This Rose from horse Haven hills stands out nicely. Very refreshing and crisp. I didn't know what to expect from a Cabernet Sauvignon Rose. I never expected something is good. — 3 years ago
Great & easy. Doesn’t taste cheap - cause it’s not. $28 BOGO at Winn Dixie. — 4 years ago

This Cab needs a minimum of hour to breathe, a very drinkable wine at a reasonable price. If you can find this wine … try it you won’t be disappointed! — 5 months ago
