Medium ruby , wide pink rim . Touch of wood spice then strawberry compote , raspberry and red cherry . On the palate the ripe red fruits present on the nose , with good balance and balanced acidity . Rounded tannins , balanced alcohol . Very juicy, a crowd pleaser really , also young still , more complexity may come with time. Better in 3-5 years and will last well a further 10. — a month ago

I know that this should be aged some time but had my brother in law visiting and he is a SB fan. Pulled this out of the cellar for him. Typical SB profile, balanced and a nice round creamy moutfeel. But other than that: I didn't taste the difference between this and a 15€ supermarket sauvignon blanc. Supposedly this is the top of Sancerre.... Maybe complexity will develop in a couple of years time but for now underwhelmed 🫣 — 18 days ago
