Very floral, great with food or for sipping. Would buy again — a month ago
Not like the favored semillions recalled from my youth. (OK, with time it’s blossomed up a point to 90.) — a month ago
This has aged well, would hold it’s own with a 1er Burg. Fruit is there but dry and tart, spicy and earthy. Wish I had more. — 4 months ago
14-year-old Chardonnay from Australia. From a well respected winery. Oak and fruits still doing their job quite nicely. Quite impressed. — 8 months ago

My 11th bottle of an original dozen bought on release. Still going strong after 26 years. Colour of mid crimson with a tawny rim. When decanted the wine threw a lot of sediment. Herbaceous with red fruits - hint of red currants. Palate is mid weight - sweet and savoury at once, finishing with smooth resolved tannins. I will leave the last one for another 1 or 2 years / say early 2027. — 2 days ago
