Oh boy, how do I handle this wine. Having it young was too intense to drink, having at some point later seemed to be over the hill but now thinking that was a flawed bottle. This one was excellent with a ton of dark fruits mainly blackberries, plumbs and others. Also, had some cola and wood notes. Excellent from start to the long finish. Think it could go for some more years but why bother when drinking so great now. This is my last bottle and that’s fine since I’m an old guy and can’t be buying expensive wines that you need to hold for 10 plus years — 2 months ago
