Absolutely amazing Barolo. Oh my. Been a while since I had suck a lovely Italian Barolo that impressed me. Plums, dark cherries and licorice. — 3 months ago
This is exceptional wine, the best example of Barbera I have had. Savoury, slightly bitter, aromatic, slightly tannic, some acid. Perfect with a puttanesca sauce. — 2 months ago
The nose shows; poached strawberries, cooked cherries, some blackberries, just a hint of bubble gum, some sandy, wet, black earth, red & pink roses.
The palate is ripe and juicy & light bodied. Black cherries, strawberries raspberries, pomegranate, some blackberries & black raspberries, hints of blood orange, loamy sandy, limestone, dark spice with a touch heat, hints of licorice & cola, very fine, dry, soft tannins, red and pink roses, red flowers, beautiful acidity and a pleasant, elegant, easy finish that lasts a full minute. — 4 months ago

2022 vintage. Will likely try to pick this up for the resto wine list again. Decanted but was pretty PNP from the get go along with surprising, back-end structure. Excellent effort and quintessential California pinot. 02.20.25. — 3 days ago
