Grippy tannins. I am becoming a big fan of this appellation. Stronger body. Delicious. — 2 months ago
Well balanced, strawberry, melon, stone fruit and cream. Quite alcoholic, but with a lovely finish. Favourite rose. — 2 months ago
Blend of about 39% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petit Verdot with the rest Cabernet Franc, aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak, deep Ruby, purple edges with aromas of dark red fruits, oak and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum and currants with cacao and herb spice. Full dusty tannins, opens nicely, long finish ending with fruit, oak, vanilla spice and mineral character. Nice! Drinking well now, will still age. — 3 months ago
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Spicy nose with black fruits, chocolates and light cedar.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with black cherries, sweet raspberries, plums, cedar, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, light alcohol, peppercorn, espresso and chocolates.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This young Zinfandel from Oakville is starting to drink nicely now. Spicy and rich. Elegant and fruit forward. I really enjoyed the nose at this point.
A very interesting wine, as the nose shows black fruits, while red fruits dominate the palate.
This Single Vineyard Zinfandel will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years.
Good right out of the bottle and good by itself or with food.

Pale ruby in color; candied cherries, dried herbs, and raspberries on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like hibiscus, cloves, and dried leaves with a long finish. Nellie, Leo, and Bri don't like it. I like it. — 2 months ago
Lovely lemon and slight oak, trace amount of pear and peach. — a month ago
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Inky in color with a reddish rim.
Strong nose of black fruits with chocolate notes, cedar, vanilla, tobacco, Indian spices and licorice.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, licorice, vanilla, chocolates, tobacco, spices, peppercorn, coffee, cola and herbs.
Long spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is another terrific wine from the problematic 2020 vintage in Napa Valley. Nicely balanced, complex and smooth. Elegant with a great mouthfeel.
Rich, extracted and in your face kind of wine. The nose is really gorgeous at this point.
Drinking beautifully now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes in the decanter. Good by itself as a sipping wine.
A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. Organic.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
