My. Etna volcanic minerals, acidity, herbs, smooth, full, long — a month ago
Initial notes of earthy blue cheese that morphed into dark cherry as it opened up. Drank alongside balada and grilled vegetables. — 4 months ago
This is a version of Primitivo quite different to what we are used in Italy.
I am sure it has its lovers
6 months in French oak and 6 in American oak too
The wine has a deep colour
Multitude of spices over a big fruit.
It is a step away from a Barossa wine and two away from a classic Primitvo.
But it is definitely long and mouth fulling.

Not a ton I could discern from nose on this one, lots of red fruit and maybe some blackberry, somewhat dry and leathery finish with a bit of earthiness, lovely with some Ibérico Abanico, potatoes and grilled asparagus…a great gift from @Pooneet K — 7 months ago

Herbs, roses, cherry fruit, tons of mineral complexity and a backbone of asphalt and coal. Amazing. — a month ago
