This comes across as ridiculous must drink now Pinot. Raspberry driven as the 2009. Definitely cut from the same cloth. The powerful tannins will carry this for 10’years but boy is this good right now. Cherry, Za’atar, lemon zest, orange juice, unlike any other Pinot on the Market. I am a fan but it is a wine for folks who know and appreciate E&M. — 3 years ago

This was fantastic, strong, and yet still seemingly understated. Although I am no fortune teller, this seemed strong and young. I couldn’t place all the flavors I experienced, but to my palate there was raspberry, blackberry, smoked meats, soil after a rain, and portobello mushroom all matched with a beautiful color to stare at between sips. My first Rav... I am very familiar with MdT and rate it highly but had not explored the finer end of the spectrum. Quality of the maker really shines through - refined, basic elements give way to an overall much crisper, shelly and mineral expression - epitome of Chablis. Time in glass produced the characteristic waxy notes. — 3 years ago
Had an op to re-buy at $115 and wanted to check in on the 2006. What a nice rendition. Perhaps not the best vintage overall, but in really great shape right now with the typical tobacco aromas. Needless to say, I am buying more — 3 years ago
