This wine comes from a time when natural wine was still a revolution, not a trend. Foillard, one of the Gang of Four, took Gamay to wild, expressive heights with deep structure and an earthy sensuality which entices any wine lover. Twenty years later this wine is a testament of passion; on the palate the wine is so harmonious it decimates in your mouth like the most beautiful time lapse you’ve ever experienced. 2020 vintage - delightful. Elegant, balanced, expressive and youthful. — 5 days ago
Intense plum, thyme, mint, medium low acid, dark cocoa. After 2 hours more of dark and ble fruit, black tea and peppery notes. — 6 hours ago
Quite light medium ruby, with wide garnet rim . Quite a lot of spicy darker fruits , with blackberry , dark cherry , very fruit driven still , floral hints . On the palate there good density and bright acidity , quite rounded ripe but gritty tannin , with a quite sweet spiced darker fruit profile , with a touch of anise , earth and dark cherry on the medium length finish . This is drinking well and still showing quite a lot of fruit , quite rounded and ample in style . From now and over the next 5 or so years . — a month ago
Stone, honey, peach limestone. Golden and intense. Balanced with some toasty notes but lovely purity and balance. — 25 days ago

The balance on this wine is amazing. At times it is crushable and others it is so complex and contemplative. Big crunchy fruit, stone, flowers, super long 30 second finish of strawberry fields and cherries. So good. — 2 days ago
