Quite fresh acidity and slightly gritty tannins . Red cherry , herbal medium length finish . This is showing well but will probably age quite well over the next 5-8 years . On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with notes of oak and black pepper notes. Fine soft tannins, great balance with acidity, long finish ending with juicy fruits and mineral notes. Not your run a the mill AR Malbec. The fruit is subtle, acidity is pronounced, body is full, and the finish is long and savory. The Patagonian cool climate really dials down the alcohol and allows for balance on all else. The finish is impressive: meaty, chocolaty, slight tannic, with dark fruit remains. — 6 months ago
