Pale gold in color; lemon, yellow apples, and peaches on the nose; high acidity; tastes like lemon zest; honeysuckle, and pear with a long finish. Nellie and I like it. Rayne did not. — 20 days ago
Golden , orange tinged centre , lemon yellow rim . Very aromatic, clementines, orange rind , saffron , creme brûlée , caramel. On the palate rich and intense but with very good balance from fresh acidity . Orange syrup , saffron creme brûlée with a slight burnt caramel touch on the finish . Long and powerful , this is ready but will carry on at this level for another 10-20 years — 24 days ago
Pale lemon. One the nose- apple, pear, peach, citrus, and a grassy/herbaceous note that I can’t put my finger on. Burst of grapefruit and pineapple with some minerality on the palate. Medium body. Nice, zesty acidity. Was a bit tight at first out of the bottle. Best to let it breathe a bit and losen up some. Fun and cheeky wine! — 4 months ago
I never would have anticipated drinking my birth year of Cheval Blanc out of a Solo cup yet, here we are. The ‘81 is ruddy still; deep garnet color with some browning towards the rim and loads of sediment. The nose shows some of the telltale green-ness of vintage but everything has found harmony: the fruit has blossomed and structure has integrated. Dark fruited with tobacco, dried purple flowers, mushrooms, herbs and soft eastern spices. Charming! No particular rush to drink these but lovely now. — 10 hours ago
Light golden in color.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.
Showing limes, green apples, grapefruits, bitter herbs, spices, light earth, minerals and black pepper.
Spicy finish with bitter almonds.
This is a delicious Sauvignon Blanc From the Loire Valley in France. Rich and elegant. Much more buttery than I expected it to be.
Still young and needs at least 5 years in the bottle to mature properly. I had the 2014 not too long ago, and it was even better.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. Good by itself or with food.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Most of the love in the Ulysse Collin lineup goes to the BdB’s but I am a big fan of the Maillons, particularly recent renditions. They’re more giving on release, always so demonstrative and aromatically expressive, and this one, based on the 2017 vintage is no exception, wafting layers of defined orchard fruit, bread dough and wildflower honey. The palate is both concentrated and focused with racy acids, a wonderfully textural mousse and a bright, energetic and mineral laced finale. Top notch Blanc de Noirs to no surprise. — 11 hours ago

pears and apples on the nose, but also quince-confiture and yellow stone fruits, such as apricots and peaches intermixed with vanilla, brioche (pain aux raisins), some nutty flavors and also some white floral notes. On the palate, this medium-bodied Brut is as round (if not pretty sweet) and fruit-driven.The mousse is fine and balanced to a long, aromatic, stunningly dry and slightly mineral, impressively long finish — 8 days ago
