フェテアスカネアグラ
シルキーでスムース。ハニー様の甘みはあるが香り豊かなベリーと相まって飲みやすい。 — 4 months ago
My first wine I’ve ever tasted from Moldova. Jancis Robinson reviewed it in Financial Times January 27 2023. Tasting and decanting now… purple, very good clarity. Aromas of leather (wood) and strawberry, flavors of strawberry and cherry with wood, light to moderate seed and skin tannins on finish. Light bodied but solid tannin structure. Needs at least 60 minutes to decant. 24 hours later, tasting really well, some real character. A worthy red table wine — 3 years ago
New vintage. Ruby red, excellent clarity. Moderate pigment extraction. Red fruit, cherry peel and berry flavors with a graphite, black pepper, black olive and seed bitterness finish. Tangerine peel aftertaste. Dense flavor profile, good acid, not your typical WA state Grenache. — 4 years ago
Haven’t had this wine in a while, and my god, what a return. Nose is sick. Comforting aromas of chestnut, spice, tar, leather, roses and more. So deep, accurate, and detailed, with loads of sweet spices. 9.6 nose. Gorgeous. The palate comes in with huge concentration and sap, big tannins that will smooth out with air. Dark cherry fruit and a whole inner world of florals and spices. The finish just imprints itself on your palate, juicy, suave, but in need of air. It’s all there.
With air, the nose picks up caramel, tree bark, and forest floor. Really elegant and pure. The tannins still need age and oxygen to calm down, but after much air, it’s lovely. Nose turns harmonious and full, tree bark, oolong tea, tar, roses, dark macerated cherries. Velvety palate, luscious fruit. So fresh and nimble. — 2 months ago
Acidità spaziale, tannino perfetto, grande intensità al naso e in bocca. Morbidezze perfettamente bilanciate. Persistenza non lunghissima. — 6 months ago
Poured into a wide bottom decanter about four hours prior to service; enjoyed over the course of our meal. The 1990 pours a garnet color with a translucent core and an orang-ish rim; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of ripe and desiccated fruits and truffles for dayzzzzz! There’s dried Morello cherry, red rope licorice, truffle, dried red flowers, the smell of an old cedar chest filled with old leather bound books and a mix of organic and inorganic earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin (integrated) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and savory. This is showing well at 35 years old! Drink now through 2030. Thanks @Lyle Fass for the assist! — 3 months ago

Such a wild wine. That color tells the story. Kind of like salmon rust. Nose is brambly raspberry, high toned minerals and white pepper. Lovely spice and serious aromatics. Just unreal. Palate is so elegant with terrific mousse and major salinity. Like major salinity. Lovely inner mouth aromas and great concentration. Long finish, but needs a few hours as then it gets insane. Great presence and finish. — a month ago
