Just what you want with a Rose on a nice hot day. Light, clean, crisp with balanced acidity. Highly drinkable. — 3 days ago
Another great year. Amazing bouquet and intensity of raspberry and plum flavors — 3 hours ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed as an aperitif prior to dinner. The NV Brut Rosé pours a very pretty pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of raspberry, strawberry, spring flowers, some brioche, lemon citrus and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. The fruit is round in a good way. Balanced. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and chalky. This is a classy NV Rosé that’s easy for the wine nerd and the crowd to appreciate. Drink now. No disgorgement data. — 13 days ago
LC17 Fac-Simile is evolving beautifully in bottle with a multidimensional expression of smoky red berry fruit, chalky minerality and sea spray-like salinity with a savory Meunier edge. One of the most distinctive and recognizable Rosé Champagne’s in the biz and growing more elusive by the day. — 20 days ago
Yum. Aromatic, great structure, good balance between acidity, fruit skin or vegetal complexity, and bright fruit. — 17 days ago
This is a “fly your freak flag” wine. All the shit that your parents told you not to do, this wine does. Oxidation, VA! Use weird combinations of grapes. Be yourself! — 10 days ago

This is the same wine I reported on last fall, and this bottle is even better — while I purchased other vintages of Stony Hill Chardonnay that didn’t show this amount of longevity, this vintage is again fabulous, now at age 23. Color looks like a 5-7 year old Chardonnay, fabulously complex nose of minerals and floral notes, on palate remarkable freshness and youth, I think this is at or near peak, but this is simply amazing for aged Napa Chardonnay, WOW!!! — a day ago
