Select Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir 2022

Impressive, Cranberry, touch volatile acid, cherry, juicy, lots of tannins. This is really good and reminds me of the Burghs in the old old days before they did get stylized. Biodynamic, 13%. — 4 days ago

Les Dijonnais Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir 2014

Some sediment. Good legs. Lovely color fruitful with some acidity. Not much body - a little thin. It does open up well. — 2 months ago

Dom Pérignon

Brut Champagne Blend 2008

#AgedWineTuesday

Light gold in color.

Nice crisp nose with limes and brioche.

Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity and small bubbles.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing citrus, yeast, minerals, bread, green apples, herbs, earth, lemon juice and white pepper.

Long finish, tasty and elegant.

This 16 year old still feels very young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Rich and well balanced.

I love this vintage of Dom Perignon. Complex and interesting. I've had this vintage it a few times before, and it is very consistent.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. Good stuff.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$350.

Patricia Green Cellars

Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019

Ming L
9.0

The winery claims to produce more different bottling of PN than any other wineries in the U.S. This is a good entry level bottling. Blueberry, raspberry, black tea, forest floor and warm spices on the nose. Medium body. Hint of fresh herbs on the otherwise juicy palate. Fresh lively acidity.
Cofounder Patricia Green died from an apparent accident some years ago. Glad that the winery carries on.

Brick House

Evelyn's Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir 2014

Brickhouse’s flagship Pinot, estate fruit, best barrels. Integrated tannin, cherry fruit, some savory forest notes, enjoyed over a several hours without food and the last glass was the best. Worth the wait, I dig it. — a month ago
