Don’t think I have the 2019 merlot rose, I have the 2022 Boudeaux I think. Reaaaally lovely and light!!! — 10 months ago
Exceptional as always — 2 years ago
Very fragrant with early flowers: lily, honeysuckle, in spring rain. But then something more exotic; jasmine like. On the palate this floats and stings. Transparent, filled with light.
After a few days as the acid rounds, it picks up a beautiful sweetness on the finish. Bodes well. — 3 years ago
Good age on it being a ‘13 and it held well . Medium bodied — 7 months ago
Great as always. A seductive perfume of white lily and jasmine flowers waft from the glass, and there is exquisite balance on the palate, with a bit of Viognier/Chenin “gras” paired with wet rocks, a refreshing tartness and almost phenolic spice on the finish. — 2 years ago
Great ca zin. Blackberries galore, red apples, some earth and forest. Great acidity but still a rich zin. This is such an underrated winery. — 9 months ago
Santa Barbera Chardonnay is really becoming a favourite of mine. The Pinot from SB seems to get all the attention here in Sweden but the Chardonnay is outperforming the Pinot by a mile. Very bright and well balanced. Seashell, pear, honey, hezelnuts, jasmin, tiger balm. — 2 years ago
It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Here is a delicious one from Napa Valley.
Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, light herbs, earth, chocolates, eucalyptus, tobacco, red chili pepper and peppercorn.
Full bodied and elegant with medium acidity with long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, plums, sweet cherries, spices, vanilla, cedar, licorice, raisins, leather, black pepper, pencil lead and light earth.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Nicely balanced with nice complexity.
Drinking very nicely now, although still young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.
Tannins show up after 2 hours in the decanter.
I had the 2015 vintage last year, and this one is even better.
A great wine to have all by itself, but will pair nicely with a nice piece of steak too.
I love these Napa Bordeaux blends. Fabulous wine.
A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Aged for 27 months in (50% new) French Oak barrels. A small production of only 2,400 bottles.
14.4% alcohol by volume.
94 points.

Really enjoyed this white nice balance of acidity, with some structure and body. Can’t remember any exact notes but delicious! — a month ago
