Medium Ruby with aromas of fresh berry fruits, floral and sweet spice. On the palate this medium body wine shows flavors of juicy blueberry and blackberry with notes of herbs and vanilla spice. Dusty tannin structure, lively acidity, medium ending with crisp fruit finish. Nice value. Drink now, consistent, no aging benefit. — 2 months ago
2024 winter. Red berry fruit, some flowers, a charred earth streak - more mini-Barbaresco than easy drinker — 5 months ago
Bought at Pine Orchard 3/23, $22. Very full bodied. Rich flavors, subtle tannins. — 13 days ago
Nice value for the easy drinking 15% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon & 70% Sangiovese blend, two-thirds of wine aged 12 months in French oak. Deep Ruby with fresh red berry aromas and some herb spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry, plum, cacao and licorice. Fine tannins, medium+ finish, good balance with acidity, ending with tobacco and oak on the finish. — a month ago
Medium purple in color; raspberries, cherries, and dried herbs on the nose; low acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like tart cherry jolly ranchers, raspberry sauce, and black tea with a long fruity finish. There may be a little residual sugar in this wine, but it's still very good. It's easy drinking for anyone that likes sour candies. It could use a little more acidity. Nellie doesn't like it because it's sour. I love it. — 4 months ago
Beautifully aging nebbiolo. My first example from this producer. Everything I like in this kind of wine. Sour red cherry, mint, rose, sweet tobacco. Finish goes on and on. Tannins well integrated and still plenty of acid. Classically made with no heavy oak as far as I can tell. — a month ago
On the nose, this is cherry and blueberry... On the palate the cherry is concentrated... The blueberry is also there... Savory, fatty... The tanning here is medium and chewy... The bright, fruity finish is just medium but the tannin lingers long... I quite like this tannin effect here. I paired this with crackers and an aged Gouda, but really I think this could have paired with a variety of foods. Decent acidity to hold its own against a variety of foods as long as they're kept simple. — 4 months ago

I thought this had a harsh taste at first, but then it really opened up and grew on me. The harshness softened, maybe was mulberry. Definitely some sour cherry. Medium to full bodied. I liked more than light pinots, not as much as Barolo. — 9 days ago
