In the heart of the Chianti lies Estate of Sette Ponti, 15 miles northwest of the city of Arezzo, past village of San Giustino Valdarno. Has 10% Merlot, aged in French Allier barriques, deep Ruby with red fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate blackberry, plum and cherry flavors with blossom notes, spice and fine integrated tannins. Good balance, long finish ending with some oak and mineral tones. Nice! Will age a bit! On nose its cherries, raspberry, floral, campor, italian herbs.

Wow this is too young! Opened it, had a glass, then left it on counter for 24 hours. Better, but still needs more air. Cassis, dried meats, cherry, herbs, a bit of wood, more red fruits. It’s all there just need to open it in a decade. — 14 days ago

2019 vintage. This is drinking really nice right now. Tannins are still wanting for food, but approachable. Blood orange, dried flowers, licorice, tea, ripe cherry, menthol and nice acid. Great with stuffed pasta shells. Love where this is at, but has plenty of time to grow. — 19 days ago
