Deep cherry red with violet. Vanilla, plum, pepper. Blueberry. Earthy. Spicy. Dry. Relatively gentle tannin. Fruity. Smooth later. 20 @1490, My9, 250520-250521 — 4 days ago
Выпито 03.05.25 у Савваса дома. Это просто шедевр. Шикарный шираз 2016 года. — 22 days ago
Delicious ‘syrah’ style shitaz from McLaren Vale. Not overdone; lovely balanced structure with blueberry and plum fruit. — a month ago
Penfolds reds like this age at glacial pace even from a not so great vintage like 2007. Not much change after 5 years. Red and black fruits- choc/mocha - good concentration - tannins starting to soften after 18 years. Could keep cellaring up to 2030 and beyond. — 10 days ago
Dense dark crimson - almost black in colour. Red and black fruits, choc/mocha; and wild mint. An inner core of strength, concentration and intensity. The following night - Blackberry, rich, ripe fruits. A powerful 389 which will live for decades. My first of 11. Destined for greatness. 100% American Oak. 51% Cabernet Sauvignon; 49% Shiraz. — a month ago
Everything about this wine is DARK. Deep ruby/purple color bordering on black. Aromas of black and blue fruit, Asian spices and coffee. Flavors of cooked black berry/plum/currant fruit, bakers chocolate, tar and espresso. Hint of black pepper on the long, lingering and silky finish. Extremely concentrated with lively acidity. Tannins are firm but in harmony. This is a wine you quickly take notice of. Probably at (or just past) its peak. Thanks for the wonderful gift, Petey P! — 3 months ago

Gorgeous. Ripe exotic fruit, but with restraint, and tremendous minerality and focus. At its peak now if you’d ask me. — 2 days ago
