A blend of about 40 crus from the Champagne region, with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and about one-third Chardonnay, aged for almost 3 years. Fresh vibrant champagne, fruit/floral bouquet, w/chalky minerals. Fine bubbles, nice mousse, rich flavors of peach, lemon and honey, well balanced, good structure, creamy. Long finish ending with yeast & mineral notes. Very consistent quality. — 2 years ago
With New Years around the corner, grab something nice for 2022. Made with 100% Pinot Noir from 10 different "crus " (or villages), from the North & South areas of the Montagne de Reims, as well as the famous Cote de Bouzy. Deep salmon pink with full aromas of berry fruit and citrus mineral notes wrapped in a delicate fine mousse. On the palate flavors of raspberry and strawberry, bright acidity with spicy notes and orange zest. Long silky finish, ending with earthy yeasty mineral character. — 3 years ago
A wonderful Winter Blanc de Blanc- gorgeous masculine champagne with musky. Quite different than others, but perfect for the cold months. — 6 months ago
Bougros for me the weakest of the grand crus. Still a tasty lemoney, chalky delight. — a year ago
An exceptional White Bourgogne - see previous Delectable notes. You wouldn’t expect anything less from Leroy. Peach and pear with minerality, acid and fruit all in balance. Of the 3 bottles I bought they have continually improved with each bottle. Wish I could afford their Premier and Grand Crus. The few I have tasted seem to be a cut above. A cuvée like Leroy Musigny is the provence of billionaires and potentates. — 3 years ago

Amazing for its level, though still more expensive than most Grand Crus. — a year ago
The “second wine” from one of Alsace’s greatest winemaking dynasties. Unlike the single-vineyard Clos Ste. Hune, this is a blend from two (adjacent) sites in the Geisberg (sandstone) and Osterberg (limestone) grand crus in Ribeauvillé. Complex bouquet with aromas of yellow apple, candied citrus, beeswax, crushed stone and a hint of petrol. Full-bodied, rich, quite concentrated with flavors of citrus (lemon) and notes of white fruit. Pure, precise, intense, great acidity — 2 years ago
Village Barbaresco (100% Nebbiolo) from various vineyards - including fruit from the prestigious Ovello, Montestefano and Rio Sordo crus. Perfumed and ethereal, quite fruit-forward on the nose with aromas of cherry, rose petal, pine needles and earthy notes and a whiff of tar. Juicy, slightly rustic on the palate with flavors of crunchy red fruit (cherry, cranberry), licorice. Quite dry, slightly harsh tannins (drinking this very young). High acidity. Pairs great with mushrooms — 3 years ago

No need to be my long-winded self. Exactly what you expect from a great champagne in a great year. Upside from here.. — 2 months ago
