Light bodied without being a pushover. Bright fruit, almost a bit green like unripened strawberries with a constant bitter note throughout - like unsweetened cacao nibs — 2 months ago
Established in the village of Marsannay in the 1960's by Bernard Coillot, father of owner Christophe Coillot. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of berry fruit and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with notes of fig, mushroom and spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy mineral character. Very Nice! — 16 days ago
Dark red fruit, oxidative notes, stewed fruit, plum, pencil lead, cola, molasses, and ripe black fruit. Medium plus body, high tannins, high alcohol, high acid, and long finish. Drink now with all the tertiary stuff going on, which surprises me given the vintage is only 5 years old. — 17 days ago

One of the more accessible and expressive 05’s I’ve had in a while, Cathiard’s Vosne-esque Aux Murgers is open and giving wafting perfumed and spice laced dark berry fruit with violets, black tea and damp earth. The palate is pure silk, elegant and seductive, perhaps even belying the burly vintage typicity, with terrific persistence, balanced acids and soft tannins. An 05 that is finally ready to go! Beautiful wine. — 11 hours ago
