Wow, I loved this wine. It evolved from nose, to approach, to mid-palette to a lovely long finish. There was a vibrant tension between the fruit and the acidity and the limestone underneath it all. And, basically, yum. — a month ago
Low acid, red currant, pretty tame. Oaky on the nose, easy drinking, medium bodied, ashy, tannings. Good! — 3 months ago
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (61%) and Merlot (39%). Murky ruby color. Aromas of ripe red and black fruits, violets and forest floor. Blackberry, Black Currant, Black Plum fruit on the palate with hints of mushroom, nutmeg and tobacco. Slight hint of vanilla on the long finish. Mouth watering acidity, medium-plus body and very dry. Tannins have softened and the texture is velvety. Much better with food. — 4 days ago
3.1. Margaux blend, heavy on the tannins without that bright cheery fruit we were expecting. On sale for 13.99, regularly $19.98. — 13 days ago
Smooth, rich, slightly acidic — 3 months ago
Wow this is good. Intense nose shows tons of limestony minerals and ripe gooseberry, citrus-zest ingredients fruit. Large-framed in the mouth for a Sancerre, but everything is in perfect balance: minerals, fruit, acid, glycerol. Nice length. — a month ago

Ruby red color with complex aromas of ripe red fruits, baking spice and cedar notes, aged for about 8 months on oak. On the palate flavors of cherry, plum and blackberry with notes of cacao, spice and oak. Fine tannins, long finish, ending with fruit, spice and earthy mineral notes. Drink now! — 3 months ago

2022 vintage. Cabernet Sauvignon (65%) dominates, blended with 31% of Merlot and 4% of Petit Verdot. Malleret has a very long history, and it has been in the hands of the same family for 150 years. In this exceptional vintage, Malleret is a sheer beauty. Deep, dense dark red with purplish rim. Blackberries, cassis, flowers and very subtle oak. Seriously concentrated, with layers of black fruit and delicate spices, embedded in a firm structure of velvety tannins, balanced by fresh acidity. Long, fresh finish. A lovely wine that sells for a song. Abv. 13,5%. Stéphane Derononcourt consults. — 6 days ago
