Very jammy, got a glass at S52, but I know they sell the bottle at TJs for the same price 😭 would buy again tho! — 2 months ago
Slightly heavier Pinot noir, ripened blackberries, plums, liquorice, cinnamon and toffee. Does not taste like a typical French or Aust/NZ Pinot. Elegant tannins and acidic. Taste more like a light right bank — 3 months ago
Great wine, taste is chocolate, oak wood and dark red fruit, very nice at meat and dessert, enjoyed at fire place. — 15 days ago
This wine is dark, with an aroma profile that seems to match. The nose has a tarry sense to it, with notes of cedar, cigars and clove buoyed along by the blackberry and cassis fruit smells. The palate is dark, too, with blue and black fruit, clove and pepper and oak notes providing complexity. The acidity is fresh and the tannic grip is firm enough that food is almost a necessity with it. It will pair well with any meat dishes. — 2 months ago

The 2022 Pinot Noir Aeolian is darkly floral, as a mix of dried violets, lavender and incense forms an enticing bouquet. This is soothingly round and supple, showing a lick of salty minerality up front that perfectly offsets its ripe wild berry fruits. The 2022 leaves the palate stained in primary concentration, with a bitter blackberry tinge and edgy tannins that make for a lovely punctuation to the experience. The Aeolian hails from vines planted in 2001 at 700 feet in the higher elevations of Bethel Heights. (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2024)
