Vanilla scent after. Light and soft fruits. Drinkable and delicious. — 13 days ago
Perhaps the best Barbera I’ve tastes. Bright sweet floral on opening. Very nice on opening - amazing day 2. Big, complex, packed with layers of silky smooth flavors. Cheries, cinnamon, cocoa, fig, citrus, leather and soft clove on the finish. — 25 days ago
Very nice and smooth; an easy drink without much bite or even growl in it — 18 days ago
Nose: potent. Dark flowers.
Palate: a bit cooked.

Barolo’s are new territory for us. It was a medium bodied wine with tannins that were not over powering. Easy on the palate and a smooth finish. — 3 months ago

Splash decanted directly before service; enjoyed over the course of a few hours out of red Solo cups. The 1981 Gran Reserva Blanco pours, a golden color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of Khalas dates, dried apricot, black lemon, almonds, toasted coconut and marshmallow. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is waxy. A cerebral wine and just lovely stuff. Well stored bottles have a long life yet left ahead. Drink now with patience and plenty of air and through 2051. — 21 days ago
