Quite light ruby , wide garnet , terracotta rim . Fruit forward , with red cherry , strawberry , rose , pomegranate with sweet spices , anis . On the palate lovely sweet cherry , strawberry , light red fruits , crunchy with quite fresh acidity . Polished and sweet , but very present tannins , this is still very young. Saline and sweet spice tinged finish , good length. This is drinking well, however is still very fruit driven and just improved throughout the evening . From now but will improve over the next 5-10 years and last well a further 10, especially in magnum. — 24 days ago

A Paul Hobbs Argentinian Bordeaux style red. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (61%), Cabernet Franc (24%) and Malbec (15%). Blend of different vineyards. Deep ruby/purple color. Dark fruit (plums and blackberry) on the nose with plenty of purple flower and “green” aromas. The palate also features dark fruit (along with blueberry flavors) with a distinct note of pyrazine and more subtle hints of dark chocolate, sweet baking spices and a bit of graphite. Bright Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, spices, oak and smoky tobacco notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with notes of pepper, tobacco, cedar and vanilla.
