Delicious #chablispremiercru - likely built for the long haul but drinks splendidly young as well. Taut tartness up front on the palate, lemon layered on top of wet stone. Yum! — 20 days ago
Improved second day. Needs time. — 13 days ago
Light Syrah. Short finish.

On the tail end of its prime window, but still hitting. Like a mealy yellow apple, not quite browned. Has cider notes but plenty of acid in the mouth for vibrancy. Laser lemon cleaner with toasted oak becomes candied kumquat and sweet clementine.
Theres a lot of beautiful weight and texture and raw power that comes out to play as you let it warm. — a month ago
Day and intense. Dried herbs, blood and deep fruit. Gorgeously savory and delicious and fresh. Spectacular. Definition and structure. Lots of class — 10 days ago
Incredible wine - found this in our collection and was so pleased that it was still incredible after almost 15 years not kept in the perfect condition — 3 days ago

My wife said it smelled like fart but to my nose pure barnyard, it dissipated (does that make it more fart-like?). Mid-weight and gorgeously textured Syrah with no hard edges, tangy ripe red berry, black tapenade, white pepper and leathery tones in a velvety package. Needed a short decant and was a super match for braised rib. — 21 days ago
