Consistent with prior notes. Maybe adding a little gravitas/depth. Still super fresh. — 16 days ago

WOW!!!! 2017 Chateau Gloria Saint-Julien , Domaines MARTIN. - Bordeaux France!!!!!!! I have finally found an exceptional bordeaux that rocks my taste buds! The color is dark burgundy. The legs are long and slow. On the nose, there’s lots of rhubarb pie and violets! My initial pallet is tantalized with explosions of blueberries, boysenberries, cherries, and chocolate. The mid pallet quickly resolves into a velvety, slightly buttered texture. Then there is a dive straight to the finish with lots of earthy oak and cigar box with a very moderately dry finish. . This is a good one!!!!!! We purchased this in Ireland and brought it home to the USA. Unfortunately, we only bought one bottle which is already halfway gone and I’m sure as you’re reading this, it will be completely gone. — 13 hours ago
2023, 30 min in with a medium rare steak: great addition. Fine balance matching the subtle tenderness of the meat. Enjoying it. — a month ago
This really does have Chambolle character. See Lyle’s notes. Light in color, bright, some tea notes but for the most part beautiful fruit, touch cherry, raspberry, citrus… and very soft tannins - days later under my Argon line- faint prune plum. Wouldn’t age this - it is perfect now! — 3 months ago
Haven’t had in 6 months and it was closed then but wow the nose is wide open now. Gorgeous citrus, apricot, herbs and stones. Really aromatic and very compelling. Palate is very 21 with just “wake you up” acids, a chewy density, and maybe 70% mineral and 30% fruit. So pure and what a finish. This is much more open than in January. Unreal finish. Almost 2 minutes. Wow this is tangy, super juicy and ultra clean. What an amazing finish. Just gorgeous. — 23 days ago
Nose: peach apple. Lovely as it opens. White flowers an hour in.
Palate: silky. Elegant. Very bright. Green apple. No oak. Very good deliciousness. Minerals as it opens.
Great finish. Long. Bright.
Burgundian in approach but alt burgundy in flavor profile. A wonderful addition to the cellar. — a month ago
