Nose has notes of lemongrass, fennel and lemon rind, and like, moth balls, or something that reminds one of grandma’s house potpourri. 2007 vintage poured on December 31, 2022. Dark in the glass, tannins have smoothed out and still strong raspberry and cherry on the palette. Paired with Beef Wellington and a green peppercorn sauce. Admittedly the sauce overpowered the wine. — 3 years ago
