Dark garnet color. Complex aromas of lavender, violets, rose petals, red cherries and cinnamon. Red, blue and black berry fruit flavors with touches of baking spices, orange zest and fresh basil. Beautiful earthy note on the long finish. Medium bodied with soft tannins tannins and nicely balanced acidity. Delicate but bold at the same time. Excellent! — 2 months ago
Deep purple in color.
Fruity and easy drinking right out of the bottle
Rich and extracted. Smooth and elegant. Showing nice complexity and balance. Spicy and entertaining.
Still young, but already enjoyable, even by itself. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Robert Parker 92 points. Wine Spectator 94 points.
A delicious Napa Cabernet, and better with airtime. I've had many different vintages of this wine and it is very consistent.
A blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 3% Merlot and a touch of Petit Verdot and Malbec.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
93 points.

Quite nice with Pat’s grilled swordfish as well as air fryer salmon fillets. Toasty aromas, floral notes and spice, but light bodied and fresh acidity ($39). — a month ago
Amazing Yamhill Pinot — a month ago
Really tasty mostly zin blend. A little bit high acid and tight right when opened but was great after about 30 min — 2 months ago
The longevity this wine is capable of is shocking. The color hardly looks half its age, with a blooming nose that screams a much younger, softened cab of yesteryear. After half an hour open there’s nose of blueberry and butterscotch, vanilla and spicy peppery notes still persist! Over time a mustiness emerged, along with notes of wet wood, maybe even a little mustard! There’s even still a zippy, lingering acidity on the palate that focuses towards the tip of the tongue, either flavors of ripe strawberry, blueberry, plum and some meaty savory subtle notes, but primarily jammy fruit, with a palate that develops some woody cedar and forest floor notes and as it becomes further oxygenated. This is so impressive! — 3 months ago

From magnum. This was the first vintage of Patz & Hall “Alder Springs Vineyard” Chardonnay. At the point of blending a flicker of original youthfulness with otherwise fully matured Chardonnay flavors. This is why we drink older wines. Rich, complex spice and toast, notes of tangerine, beeswax, dried apple, caramel, wildflower, sea breeze, exotic perfume, kiwi, crushed rock. A moderate yellow color. I was there when the grapes were picked. Short of help, we all pitched in to harvest. A miracle. — a month ago
