Excellent Zin with a lot of fruits; blackberries, cranberries and some dark cherries. Also, spice, cedar and more. Did not know what to expect as Zin’s don’t go for a lot of aging. Happy I found this one in my cellar and have a couple of other Ridge wines I need to drink up.

Really tasty. Perhaps the first Cali Pinot noir that I’ve enjoyed, also probably because it drinks more like a zin. Dark opaque red. Slightly smokey. Full bodied. Bought it on sale for $35. Blend of mostly Zinfandel with a nice splash of Petite Sirah, deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe berry fruits and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with notes of licorice, herbs and pepper spice. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and tobacco notes. Nice! — 25 days ago

Terrific wine! Lighter in color but not in taste. Started off in full Zin-mode and gradually changed to be a bit dryer. Hints of toffee, caramel and plum with the slight touch of tobacco in later pours. A beautiful wine to drink on a crisp Fall evening — 2 months ago
