Always a joy. started out a bit too cold, need to be patient and let it open up and warm up for best aroma and flavor. — 9 months ago
Medium Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits with notes of dried herbs, citrus and woody spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cranberry and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine soft tannins on a long finish ending with cacao, spices and slight earthy character. Very nice! — 4 months ago
Unusual to be drinking a wine this young. Decanted 45min to begin. Nose somewhat muted, though dark fruit and oak are there. Inky purple. Great ripe black and blue fruit. Could still use more time in the air to blend together, but the minerality and earthiness is definitely there to match the fruit. Nice med-long finish. Decanting 2+ hours recommended. — 4 years ago
This is a delicious Petit Verdot from Napa Valley.
Tasty right out of the bottle and better after 2 hours in the decanter.
Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, chocolates, tobacco leaf, spices, tar, peppercorn, dark coffee, earth and licorice.
Full bodied with medium acidity.
Dry and fruity on the palate.
Loved the nose here.
14.7% alcohol by volume.

Watched MN Gophers mens hockey shut out Buckeyes in hockey. Should be a 10, but give solid rating. 1880's vines being saved by Bedrock so us Schmucks can watch hockey with wine. What could be better?? — 4 years ago
