Willow Springs Cellars

Evening Land Vineyards

Seven Springs Vineyard Chardonnay 2022

Quite nice, but definitely best on day 3. At first quite reserved and doesn’t give much up. On day 2 and 3 more generous, and the delicious rounded acid quality really comes into focus. — 11 days ago

Côte à Côte Willow Creek District Red Blend 2016

Distinctly a central coast wine. Absolutely delicious red fruit with spices, long silky tannins. At the nine year mark, it definitely needed the age to come to fruition. — a month ago

Lytton Springs Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel Blend 2006

Cork giving out but why not after 19 years! Wine is escaping to fresh beauty with a little wet dog age that I like.
Holding her space in 2025
80% Zin, 16% Petite Syrah, 4% Carignane
14.7% is reigning it in on this varietal and well done! Doesn’t feel fire breathing at all 👏

Alesia

Alder Springs Vineyard Chardonnay 2013

Light gold color, a little nutty showing some age but with good acidity and minerality, it was showing very well but with ample life remaining. — a month ago

Evening Land Vineyards

Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022

I really like what Evening Land does in general and their Pinots in particular. Lovely nose with some good cherry. Balanced mouthfeel with good dark red fruit and some nice herby notes. Acid is medium but works well to hold it together and the persistence is good. Really quite enjoyable. — 2 months ago
