I truly appreciate a skillfully curated wine list at an upscale Indian restaurant. This #stellenbosch #chardonnay paired beautifully with most of our dishes, ordered medium or less spice level. I took a gamble on an otherwise limited wine list at a pizza chain restaurant. 🎲 rolled 7 with this #montereycounty #chardonnay. Nothing profound on the aromatics, lemon, stone fruit, touch of butterscotch. Refreshing acidity on the palate entry, nice texture and spice on the finish from temperate use of new oak. We ordered a second bottle. With the acidity it paired nicely with sausage and pepperoni pizza as well as prosciutto and mushroom. — 2 years ago

Quite a nice #englishsparklingwine featuring the classic #chardonnay #pinotnoir and #pinotmeunier blend. Evolved balance between a racy lemony-style and a richer yeasty and brioche cuvée. Lovely 🍾 but for the same price seems like there are so many equally good if not better choices across the English Channel in Champagne.

So glad our impressions from the tasting at the Lytton Springs tasting room was borne out over a year later. You probably haven’t had a #chardonnay like this. This vintage has a distinctive green curry leaf (Bergera koenigii) aroma, backed by dried pineapple, toasted almonds. There’s some weight on the palate, stone fruit, pear and hints of vanilla. Beautifully complex and paired wonderfully with heirloom Mexican corn tortilla tacos. #ridgevineyards — 2 years ago
