2021 vintage. Last tasted 1.9.25 (9.3). Did indeed pick up extra for the resto and down to 1-2 bottles left. PNP. Still beyond solid for the price. It you find this vintage retail and it is $50 or below, you'd better pick it up or I'll call the federales/gendarmes/polizia/po po myself. — 3 months ago
This one had good bones but the slightest hint of vinegar on both the nose and palate - and the telltale orange rim in the glass. Drinkable but maybe just OTH and couldn’t measure up to the previous reds — 6 months ago
Nose: closed. Hints of pink roses Palate k roses.
Palate: more open. Soft cherry fruit. Chocolate. Deliciou

First time trying Domenico Clerico. Definitely can see how this leans a bit to the more powerful side but can’t argue with the quality and depth. Lots of balsamic, tar, and flowers. Great acid and tannins are still present but in check. Long finish. Fun one to try. — 2 months ago
Had high hopes as this wine/vintage was an absolute stunner 7-8 years ago when I last had a bottle but this one was a bit shagged (as my newly minted MW friend likes to say). Hoping it’s just this bottle, but maybe it’s peak has long past. Slightly maderized and very little fruit left. Thin. — 2 months ago
Great examplar of the old school Barolo…decanted 90 mins….seriously pungent/truly gorgeous nose, more refined on the palate but lots of fruit, still a bit wooden/tannic - not offensively so but could probably mellow another 5 years. But very drinkable now, perfect with a heavy roast. Nose is so fragrant I could go around sniffing this all day — 6 months ago
I'll leave the detailed reviews to the professionals. I've had this in the seller for a few years. Finally opened, decanted, let it sit for about an hour. Fantastic tannins on the finish. Exactly what I like. Does not disappoint. — 8 months ago
One of the best langhe nebbiolos I’ve had recently, especially for a relatively reasonable price on the list at Leon’s. And a great pairing with pork braciole as well. Lots of fruit, but still quite refined, with great texture and acid. Quite pretty and delicious. — 4 months ago
Great Italien wine paired with lasagna or pizza — 5 months ago

Vino Nobile de Montepulciano is a unique Sangiovese. We fell in love with it when we visited the region. Perhaps a bit of an acquired taste because it has a bit of a stringent dark, earthy, gravel, irony finish following vibrant dark red cherry… but it only takes a glas to get hooked. Paired surprisingly well with aged Gouda cheese proving its robust structure and present earthy umami flavors. The wine is aged in a medieval underground space below the winery with soaring high vaulted ceilings representing a cathedral highlighting wine as a spiritual experience. Also the name of winery goes back the twelve century as a recluse living in the caves, where the winery stands today, was able to read the weather from the behavior of a hedgehog, riccio in Italian. — 4 years ago

Italy's Pinot noir. Fruity buy very dry and earthy, with a long finish. I like it! Had at Wine Wednesday. — a month ago
