Deep Ruby color with a bouquet of fruit, earthy herbs, tobacco and floral notes. On the palate flavors of sour cherry and raspberry with notes of herb pepper, floral and earthy notes. Medium+ finish, good balance with fine tannins ending with cacao, tobacco, fruit and earthy nutty notes. — 16 days ago
Nose - forest floor, wood, tobacco, moss. Main flavors - stewed plum and light baking spices. A bit of tannic structure but overall smooth and earthy. Like no Pinot noir I’ve ever had. Tremendous! Read the James Suckling review and he has it right it’s moody. But I think moody in the best possible way. — 2 months ago
Exotic candied cinnamon, licorice, sassafras, granite. Clean. Aging well. — 2 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a hour. The 2021 “aequorin” pours a bright yellow color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe orchard and tropical fruits: yellow apple, pineapple, starfruit, marshmallow, butter, a mix of white and yellow flowers, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A fun, modern take on New World Chardonnay. Kinda gives me Liquid Farms vibes. Drink now through 2040. — 4 months ago
The Antica Terra Botanica Pinot Noir has concentrated notes of black cherry compote, mulberry, wild strawberry, violet, blood orange peel, crushed stone, tarragon leaves, cacao nibs, & clove with fine, polished tannins, lifted acidity, balance; an elegant wine that’s light on its feet with depth of character, projecting a quiet strength. — 21 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2013 “Etichetta Bianca” pours a garnet color with a translucent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with fascinating notes of ripe and desiccated fruits: black cherry, pomegranate, red flowers, roasted beef, cedar chest, alpine herbs and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and savory. Ferrando’s Carema (both white and black labels) are never short on personality and always such a joy to share with others. Drink now through 2043. — 2 months ago

Aetheric and floral, the ultimate essence of light sour cherry.
This is so pure & drinkable that it (almost) robs itself of seriousness.
Light & pure, cherries & cherries again with floral notes and a spicy undertone.
Light yet present on the palate. Sappy, juicy, so highly drinkable.
This is delicious, Barolo meets Chambolle-Musigny. For a fraction of the price.
Brilliant stuff! — a day ago
