Full bodied Tuscan red from Mike & Nadia (Rosciolli wine order). Phil and I both liked it. — a month ago
Wow, such a pleasure to drink this at this stage. Oodles of dark red and black fruits at the core with a frame of tertiary notes. Subtle spice and and savory notes too. The palate is med+ to full bodied with med+ long but fine grain tannin that are starting to resolve. Deep and pronounced on the palate with a long, and subtly structured finish. Really fun and really good! — 2 months ago
Bottiglia N 0000329 - Favoloso! — 17 days ago
2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and after 30 mins. Reticent nose. Medium-heavy body. Massive flavors and structure. Wouldn’t open it any time soon. Phenomenal now but so so intense. If you can Potsie it for a decade plus, do so. Another reminder as to why Barolo is the wine of kings. 11.01.24. — 2 months ago
Light to medium ruby , wide light garnet ruby rim . Fresh herbs , pine and red cherries on the nose , very fresh and pure . On the palate slightly spicy cherry , cedar , dried herbs, liquorice . Nice rounded red fruit , but with fresh lively acidity and fine , ripe medium tannins. Good length , with a herbal , spicy cherry tinged finish . Drink now and over the next 2-3 years whilst it retains the fresh fruit character that makes this so attractive — a month ago
Beautiful, engaging nose. Full bloom, pink & red roses, cherry hard candy, layered, soft spice, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, light herbal notes, hint of bubble gum.
Pretty, ripe, juicy palate. Fruits are light; raspberries, cherries, strawberries and blackberries & black raspberry hues. Wet river stone, dry limestone powder, more pronounced dark, dry tannins, dry herbs, dark spice with some heat, light, dry tobacco notes, barrel dust, bright red & pink roses, magnificent acidity with a very pleasant elegant, polished finish that lands on spice and lasts 90 seconds.
Really good value and one to pick up. — 2 months ago

Very good Rosso di Montalcino! Especially with hard cheese and Italian bread! Would also be great with pasta, grilled meats, etc al. Just okay as a sipping wine but comes alive with food!Cherries, brambley fruits, low tannins, good qpr especially as compared to Brunello! — 3 days ago
