Had one 2009, after 17 years. Still power, the blend is fantastic. — a month ago

fun bottle - will be great in 5 years. nice pre-ripe black currant on the finish — 3 months ago
Blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 15% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby red color, purple hues, with aromas of dark berry fruits, herbs an slight floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with licorice, tobacco, cedar and gentle floral spice. Long finish, great balance, fine chewy tannins that opened after decanting for 30 minutes, ending with fruit, cedar and earthy character. Nice, will age a bit. — 19 days ago
Year in, year out, this is my fav Chianti Classico. To me it captures all what I look for in a good every day Sangiovese - freshness, a bit of tannic edge, juicy flow, a savory sweetness to the fruit. And food friendliness!
Enticing nose with red cherries, a bit of wet undergrowth & turned earth, a bit of tomato leaf, a flowery whiff. Joyful!
Medium bodied on the palate with great energy & flow. The tannins present, a touch rustic, but in a nice way, the acidity juicy & vibrant. Nice depth and long finish.
So drinkable but also has some seriousness to it.

Great for the price. # — 2 months ago
Golden coloration. On the nose, lemon, brioche, minerals. On the palate, nice creamy texture, fuller body, a touch of earthiness, but primarily long lasting citrus and lemon notes with minerality on the palate that finishes strong with those 3 notes ending with a crush of a acidity. — 3 months ago

Ray Vanderhoff
Well structured Super Tuscan blend that incorporates only the following Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Franc (15%) and Petit Verdot (10%). Plush aromas of black/blue fruit, oaky spice, eucalyptus, violets and leather. Flavors of blackberries, cassis, tobacco, black licorice and dark chocolate. Mineral and garrigue notes on the long and lingering finish. Full bodied, powerful and dense. Well softened tannins with excellent balance, structure and complexity. Solid value for this quality. — a day ago
