Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Very nice Pinot. Good cherry notes and a little earthy. Paired well with a beef stew — a month ago

Piedlong Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2017

This was a hedonistic delight! Bursting with fruit, fresh and lovely. No need to overthink this one, just enjoy! — 2 months ago

Vieilles Vignes Corcelette Morgon Gamay 2022

The KING of Beaujolais! Though Daniel will not admit to such a silly moniker, he faises, for me, the greatest portfolio of Cru Beaujolais wines on the planet! — 4 months ago

Côte de Brouilly Gamay 2011

This aged Beaujolais is just gorgeous, crushed red berries, minerals, floral, great acidity, long, lingering finish, could easily evolve another 5 years in a cold cellar, truly an outstanding wine from a great Beaujolais vintage!! — a month ago

J. Daniel Cuvée Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

+1 hour decant(decent chunky/fine sediment). A wonderful dark ruby red color. On the nose: jammy plum/dark cherry, floral, graphite, sandalwood, crushed stone. Taste: drinking great...silky, opulent, balanced wine with blackberry jam, cherry, earth, currants, and a peppery, saline-mineral long dry finish. YUM! — 4 months ago

Château Cheval Brun

Saint Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2018

Medium ruby in color; blackberries, cassis, and graphite on the nose; medium acidity; high tannins; tastes like black cherries, black currants, and wet gravel with a long finish. Needs to decant. It was much better after an hour in the decanter. Nellie said it was ok. I like it. — 4 months ago
