Organic! New fave. 2021. WSM. — 8 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days and consistent throughout. The 2022 “Les p’tits bouts” pours a deep ruby/purple with an opaque core; medium viscosity and moderate staining of the tears. On the nose the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart fruit. Initially reductive and primary but after an hour, the nose became a stunning bouquet of fresh ripe blackberries, blueberries, an entire field of lavender, bacon fat, dried green herbs and some gentle warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. The finish is long. Beautifully fresh at this stage. Drink now and through 2037. — 25 days ago
Slightly oxidized. Was hoping for more. — 2 months ago
This is the ideal personification of Vouvray. The nose is alive with green apple, pear, white flowers, lime zest, mineral and chalk. The mouthfeel is dry, focused and vibrant with sharp acidity, a crystalline texture, and layers of citrus and saline notes that linger. Great in its youth with great aging potential. — a month ago

Gorgeous and silken, the 2019 Generation Dix-Neuf is a ball of beautiful, silky, concentrated Pinot Noir. Savory and smoky, it seems effortless, although it's clearly been anything but based on the impeccable quality. It caresses the palate. There's intensity and density here but no weight. The 2019 is a very complete wine that's still young. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2024)
