Having this 2022 with a Montreal grilled pork chop and a fresh local tomato basil mozzarella salad and it has been one of the perfect pairings of all time. The wine is a little young but comes into its own with the pork. Black petrified forest stones with just picked raspberries and tart morello cherries. A hint of Bret in the background which enh the interest without ever competing with the fruit and wet stones. Outstanding with at least 4 years ahead if it — 2 months ago

This was fun. The cork was blown, and I ran the wine through some gauze 😝 I know the store didn't cellar this very well, so it was a crap shoot. The wine was in fantastic shape and still in its adolescence.

Blend of 70% Grenache, 17% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah & 3% Cinsault, deep Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits, oak and floral spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with oak, herb spice and floral notes. Wine was complex and elegant with fine smooth tannins, long fruit and spicy finish. Plummy color tinged with tan, nose of woodsy mushroom, brown bread turned earth. Strong entry of cherry bursting through earth and cedar root. Chewy tannins show this very much alive and brimming with secret power! So good, so nice!

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The 2023 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of tart and ripe, citrus and tropical, fruit: grapefruit, passionfruit, white and yellow flowers, alfalfa, jalapeño pepper, and flinty minerals . On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Drink now. — 3 months ago
