This wine is the 2021 Domaine Louis Boillot & Fils Gevrey-Chambertin. It offers a shimmering medium ruby hue with nuanced red-fruit and earthy characteristics that effortlessly leap from the glass, especially after some time decanting. There’s also a delicate crème brûlée and toasty note that adds dimension.

My humble contribution to the Tailgate shenanigans. Compared to the other white Burgs poured tonight, the color alone was an outlier and it didn’t stop there…but that was to be expected. The 2021 seems impossibly bright, laden with tart tropical fruit; steely, chalky, leesy, lovely. This should drink well through 2036+. — 2 months ago
Very delightful white, 2022, not sweet, good minerality, seems like it could pair with a lot of things — 4 months ago
2021 vintage. Excellent, entry-level producer into the vagaries of (red) Burgundy. Things only ramp up (SUBSTANTIALLY!!!) from here. 1er Cru juice in the bargain section. Focus, concentration, depth and subtlety all found within. Pick up a half-case or more for guilt-free, current pleasure. Underrated. — 5 months ago
