@Delectable Wine This is the Nik Weis Gefen Hashalom Ockfener Saar Riesling. This is a special Kosher bottling of a beautiful Kabinett Riesling, fresh and juicy with tropical fruit/tart pineapple and mineral on the back. — 5 years ago
Wow wine. Nose is amazing, fruit and tannins are in a perfect place. Did this side by side with the 05 which was a mistake - the 05 tannins are still tough and inaccessible. In some ways reflective of the vintage but I worry the 05 won’t get there or there isn’t enough fruit. — 4 months ago
This is a bottle to drink upon opening. I felt that it lost the smooth earthy flavor the longer it was open. It was very reflective of the region it comes from. — 5 years ago
Complex, brooding and reflective of a solid vintage! Pointed acid attacks quickly, then gives way to impressive tannins that are fine grain and reach high - filling the roof with wonder & amazement. Lamb burgers, np!! — 3 years ago
