Octagon Red Bordeaux Blend 2017

This wine is very dark. It has a fragrant nose, full of blue and black fruit, flowers, cedar, green pepper, and an underlying earthiness. The palate is fruity and rich, with blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries. There is a bright acidity matched with gentle tannins. The finish is medium long and carries the fruit as a lasting memory. — 5 days ago

Moët & Chandon

Grand Vintage Brut Champagne Blend 2006

A nice way to toast my daughter’s 33rd Birthday! Blend of Chardonnay (42%), Pinot Noir (39%) and Meunier (18%). Straw gold color. Ripe apple hits both the nose and palate immediately with additional notes of pie and bread dough, lemon, apricot, white flowers and fresh herbs. Distinct chalky/nutty note on the finish. Rich and full bodied. Acidity was a bit lighter than expected. Quite dry but extremely fruit forward. A bit lacking in effervescence and mousse but still quite enjoyable. Thank you for sharing and Happy Birthday, Kase! — 10 days ago

W. & J. Graham's

Vintage Port Blend 1997

Ruby core, tawny hints in the rim.
Dried cherries, plums and dates, milk chocolate, brownspices, christmascake.
This is a nice, warm, mature Vintage Port, just a pinch too alcoholic on the finish.
