Opened three days earlier. The 2023 pours a deep ruby/purple color with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with significant staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of ripe brambles, lavender pastilles, bacon fat, black pepper, and fine baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A delightful pairing with Bison ribeye. Young but showing its potential. Drink now through 2043. — 3 months ago
2024 enjoyed 5/2026. tasted in lineup of Rhône Blanc, mostly rich and oily. this would have shown better if we started with this. I really like, I prefer the more mineral style -which is this. subtle white flowers, honeydew, under ripe peach. lemon curd showing after opening. — 5 months ago
This the ...100% not the pur ju but idk if there was a name change and it’s still the same bottling. Twiggy and crisp, pomegranate and cranberry leaf the way. Put your Patagonia on for this one. But a fine bevvy — 6 years ago
Crisp, extremely smooth, floral with hints of citrus, dry. Excellent with seafood. — 7 years ago
Wow. 25 years on this is still incredibly complex and delicious, balancing an unctuous and somewhat oily richness with all kinds of primary,!secondary, and tertiary notes. — 13 days ago

Pains me to say this bottle was on its way out. Very dry cork and low fill. Not sure about storage. Completely tertiary with dried florals and meaty bacon and salami tones. Silky palate, but just missing a step. Came back to the glass thinking “maybe now, maybe this time,” and it wasn’t to be. Birth year. — 3 days ago
