Wonderful rich texture and just the right amount of chewy. Dense and packed but so sleek and refined. The purity is stunning. Aromas of wet earth now and sweet oak. Very nice Southern Rhône red from Stephane Vedeau, ex-footballer. 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. 14.5% abv. Bold and big on flavor, but super fresh and precisely balanced. Vibrant red fruit with Mediterranean herbs. Just the right amount of tannins, and a very long finish, ending with dried berries and grass. Really sticks around. I’m surprised the overall Delectable ratings aren’t higher. This is great, and still very affordable for the quality. Paired with Byrd’s Eye View on 180g vinyl (Blue Note Tone Poet repress). — 2 months ago
