Beautiful amber color with a greenish rim. Delicate aromas and flavors of dried fruits and raisins, figs, toffee, caramel, toasted nuts, orange zest and milk chocolate. Long and lingering finish which does not seem to quit. Multiple layers of complexity. Perfect balance of structure, acidity and sweetness. Elegant and powerful at the same time. Just an amazing wine. Estate dates back to Crusades & Scottish navigator, George Smith, owner in the 18th century. Blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot aged in 20% new oak, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry, herbs and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of plum, cherry & currant with notes of pepper, tobacco & cacao notes. First Brut California sparkling produced by Champagne Louis Roederer. Pale lemon straw, nice mousse and bubbles for this 60% Chardonnay & 40% Pinot Noir blend.
