Nice bright Chablis. Would absolutely buy again. Wish I bought more bottles. Great on a summer evening with friends — 5 months ago
Light straw color. Tart nose. Pears and apricots upfront. Some citrus and very tart throughout. A great wine in the hot summer. — 7 months ago
aromas are so complex with sliced fresh and dried ginger, subtle pie crust, tarte tatin and hints of nutmeg with some salted caramel. Toasted bread, too. Always subtle. The palate is full- to medium-bodied yet hemmed-in with a freshness and balance that draws you back. Savory and vibrant — 4 days ago
Love this wine. Gritty, deadlifts more than me. Nose is funky but also deeply fruited. Lovely “sous bois.” A nose from yesteryear. Wild florals, wet earth, stanky black cherry. Big, deep, thick blackberry fruit on the palate. Suave and also rustic tannins full of black cherry and blackberry fruit. Fresh. Needs air but full of character and so damn good. Huge spice on the nose today. Heavenly. Big time Xmas spice. Palate is all silk and decadent fruit. Glorious. — a month ago
Blackcurrant and leather notes. Very savoury on the palate - a little disappointing to be honest. See previous Delectable note. I haven’t had a lot of experience with Cornas and was looking forward to this because of its stellar reputation. I have a reasonable collection of Clape Cornas in my cellar which are not ready to drink yet. To be honest this was a bit underwhelming compared to many stellar Shiraz we are lucky enough to have in Australia. Hopefully the Clape, the Rostaing and the Jamet with time in my cellar will be impressive. — 6 months ago

Love this 1er Cru and these 2022’s are really coming into their own these last 2 months after being a bit hurly burly. Nose is deep cherry, wild mint, gorgeous florals and minerals but overall an impression of thoroughly ripe fruit. Palate is so juicy and sleek. Huge fruit. So deep and the vivid red cherry fruit soaks into the palate like a crash of waves. The white caps being the ripe and sweet tannins. Such a killer vintage for Laurent. This has the guts for 10-15 years of aging. So juicy. Can’t wait to see how air hits this. Watch this space. — 6 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of dinner at Le Mazenay. The 2017 “Les Vergers” 1er Cru pours a light straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of green apple, passionfruit, starfruit, lemon curd, honeysuckle, a touch of raw almond, some matchstick, and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Solid stuff and showing really well. Drink now through 2037. — 9 days ago
