Dark garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of red and black fruit, purple flowers, pepper spice and dusty herbs. Flavors of sour black cherries, black berry/raspberry, black olives and those roasted herbs. A bit of black pepper on the long and lingering finish. Very fruit forward, plump and fleshy. No sign of oak. Soft tannins. Fresh, dry and full bodied. Great value red. Thanks for saving me a glass, Chris B! — a month ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2021 pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of black cherry purple flowers, and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finishes medium. Easy to enjoy with a variety of fare. Drink now through 2031. — 21 hours ago
