2020 vintage. From a 375ml. Some good funk in the nose immediately after opening but that mostly dissipated after 15 mins. Medium/medium heavy body. Plenty of the expected fruit-driven power cradled with equally noted tannins. Way too young, even in a half-bottle and dynamite now but another 12-15 years will be stellar. 12.12.25. — 7 days ago
Fascinating, after my recent run of so-so to DNPIM (do not put in mouth) CdPs from 25 or so years of age, here’s a “basic cuvée” of CdP (think $18-20 bottle on release) that is punching far above its weight, red fruits, very fine CdP that is drinking great now, long, lingering finish, and shows promise for another 3-5 years of aging!! — 21 hours ago

Great fruit in this one! Much less feral and rustic than I expected. Wow. — 6 days ago
2023 vintage. Screw cap. Trader Joe’s selection. Have picked up a few bottles of this every year over the last decade just to have as haus wine-esp during the holidaze. This is the best vintage I’ve had. Structure. Fruit. Accessibility. It has rolled at $7.99 a bottle as long as I can remember. Grabbed a bottle without checking the price but assuming it’s still $10 or less. Drinking like it’s a $25 bottle. Picking up more this week. 11.18.28. — a month ago

Pale salmon color. Aromas of cherry, strawberries and rose petals. Bright red fruit on the palate and a hint of minerals- great value! — 19 days ago
